This is a different approach to shorthand that I found of limited utility.

1. Leave out all silent letters

2. Write only long vowel sounds

Examples include: sal (sail), gost (ghost), is (ice), etq (eating)

3. Always include leading vowel

inkldq (including), ensiklopedi (encyclopedia)

4. Don't use 'C' for 'K' or 'S' sounds.

5. Write 'J' for 'J' or 'G' sounds

jrj (garage)

6. 'C' is for 'Ch'.

crc (church)

7. 'X' is for 'sh,' 'ish,' or 'shun'

dkxare (dictionary)

8. 'Q' is for 'ing'.

kuxq (questioning)
