Technical

This is my section on technical related issues. I had a nice page here briefly once, but it accidently got clobbered. So, I'll try to build it again. However, like an anthill that has been kicked, it may not be as pretty as the original.

Linux

Linux is my passion. I enjoy working with it, but I realize it may not be for everybody. Unfortunately, there are a few things I still need Winders for. So, here is my Linux area.

Zire 71

I own a Zire71. I bought it a couple of years ago and have managed not to kill it yet. Although, I upgraded to a Treo 650 in October, 2005. I still use several of the same applications as I did before.

Qmail

I recently had a fun time getting a Qmail+Vpopmail server working. To archive my experience, I've established this QmailVpopmailTroubleshootingGuide. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Win32 Mozilla Python

I recently found an application that uses Mozilla to write a Win32 application. Now, I would like to figure out how to tie that in with Python. Wouldn't that be a trifecta?

Win32 GUI Python

Still looking in the grand world of creating GUI applications in python. I have encountered some python issues and their fixes.

Vimki

At one time, I though I'd like to make a private wiki for outlining my graduate courses. I abandoned that idea after school got underway, realizing the approach I had envisioned was a bit too clunky. However, here is the fruit of my labor: VimKi. Another fellow has since improved upon it. I will make that available shortly.

Pronouncable Passwords

They say one strong, secure password is better than frequently rotating insecure passwords. I have to say I agree in general. To that end, here is a pronounceable password generator in javascript. I cannot vouche for the strength of these passwords, but if you're looking for a foundation, you could do worse. I especially like adding numbers and capital letters.

Productivity Software

Like everybody else, I'm hoping to improve my efficency by getting information out of my head. And, being a computer geek, I'm writing some software to help.
